I was happily working on this painting of Moreton Bay for the Brisbane Ekka, trying to get a lovely aerial effect as though you were flying over the bay towards Moreton and Stradbroke Islands, and I had a great frame that would look perfect with it--- However I realised that it was actually going to be too big to put in the Ekka as the size restrictions for Fine Art entries are quite strict! So had to put a different painting (though just as nice!) in the Ekka (opening next week), and will save this one for another competition that allows slightly larger paintings! Remember, always read the fine print!!!
