I have completed formal TAFE studies in Visual Art, Certificate III and IV, as well as regularly attending workshops and tutorials run by practising artists that I admire. It is a constant journey to keep updating and advancing my painting skills.
I have taken part in several exhibitions including the White Canvas Gallery in Church Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane in November 2011. I have previously exhibited paintings at Doggett Street Studio, at Drawing Point Gallery, Ipswich, and recently in group exhibitions at Aspire Gallery, Paddington, Queensland.
I enter competitions at local shows, and have previously won a first prize at the Brookfield Show as well as a Highly Commended award. In 2012 I received two highly commended certificates at Ipswich Show.
In 2017 I won Best in Show at Wooli Art Show and a Highly Commended for a painting in 2018.
I was a finalist in the 2024 Doyles Art Awards at Mudgeeraba, Qld.
