These are some of my latest paintings, preparing to put some in upcoming competitions like the Brisbane Ekka (August) and GoArt at Grafton in June. The capsicums is a little exercise in still life, not complete yet!

Last week I took my easel and paints to Yamba and ventured out into the open to paint the beach. It was quite challenging but fun, see photos. Now I have to complete the paintings at home and try to keep the spontaneity of the brushstrokes! |
